The Resource Editor

The Resource Editor

After a resource is generated, TeachShare opens a full-featured editor that allows teachers to modify every element of the content.

6.1 Direct Text Editing

All text within a generated resource is fully editable. Teachers can click into any paragraph, question, or heading and modify it directly, just as they would in a word processor.

6.2 Layout and Structure Editing

The editor supports modifications to the structural layout of the resource, including adding or removing sections, reordering content blocks, and changing the visual formatting.

6.3 Image Management

Teachers can:

  • Add images to any section of the resource
  • Replace existing images generated by the AI
  • Add or change graphs and charts embedded in the resource

6.4 AI Chat Assistant (Creator Chat)

The Creator Chat is an AI-powered assistant embedded within the editor. Instead of manually editing, teachers can describe what they want changed in plain language. Examples:

  • "Change question 4 to a multiple-choice format with four options."
  • "Add a word bank at the top of the page."
  • "Make the introduction paragraph shorter and simpler."
  • "Add two more questions about the second paragraph."

The AI applies the requested changes instantly, maintaining the overall style and formatting of the document.

Use Case: A teacher generates a 10-question vocabulary quiz but realizes the last three questions are too similar. They open Creator Chat and type "Replace questions 8, 9, and 10 with fill-in-the-blank sentences using the same vocabulary words." The AI rewrites those questions immediately.
