The Create from PDF feature allows educators to transform static PDF documents or images into dynamic, differentiated, and interactive resources in just a few clicks. This tool is designed to maintain curriculum fidelity while adapting the material to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Uploading and Processing

Educators can access the Create from PDF tool directly from the TeachShare Creator interface. The process begins by uploading a PDF file or an image. The platform supports dragging and dropping files or browsing local storage. Once uploaded, TeachShare's AI engine processes the document, extracting the text, layout, and structural elements. Users can upload multi-page documents and have the option to select all pages or choose specific pages to build the resource from.

Customization and Differentiation

Before generating the final resource, educators can provide specific instructions in the prompt field to guide the AI's output. This is where the power of differentiation comes into play. For example, a teacher might instruct the AI to:

• "Differentiate this resource by adding scaffolds, sentence frames, and tiered questions to support diverse learners while maintaining curriculum fidelity."
• "Add Spanish terms next to each major process and include a word bank with the English terms in their individual text boxes."

The AI interprets these instructions and applies them to the extracted content. It can automatically generate strategy tips, color-coded tiered questions, and fill-in-the-blank sentence starters, ensuring that the core curriculum content remains intact while becoming accessible to students at various reading levels or language proficiencies.

Review and Edit

After the resource is generated, it opens in the TeachShare Resource Editor. The newly created interactive resource retains the original structure but incorporates the requested enhancements. Educators can further edit any part of the document, adjust layouts, modify text, or use the TeachShare Assistant chat to make additional AI-driven changes. This ensures that the final product perfectly aligns with the teacher's instructional goals and the students' specific needs.
