Getting Started and Authentication

TeachShare uses a passwordless authentication system, meaning there are no passwords to remember or reset. Users sign in by choosing one of two methods:

• Continue with Google: One-click OAuth sign-in using an existing Google account. This is the fastest option and is recommended for schools already using Google Workspace.
• Continue with Email: Enter an email address and TeachShare sends a secure magic link. Clicking the link in the email logs the user in instantly.

All users must confirm they are 18 years of age or older at sign-up, in compliance with data privacy regulations.

Use Case: A teacher at a Google Workspace school signs in with their school Google account in one click. A homeschool educator without a Google account uses their personal email to receive a magic link and is logged in within seconds.
