21. Launchpad

The Launchpad is the central hub for organizing and managing all resources created within TeachShare. It provides a comprehensive, searchable, and structured environment where educators can easily find, edit, and deploy their instructional materials.

Organization and Navigation

Educators can access the Launchpad from the main navigation menu. The interface is designed for efficiency, featuring several key organizational tools:

1. Search Bar: A prominent search field allows users to quickly locate specific resources by name or keyword.
2. Filtering: The Launchpad offers robust filtering options to narrow down the view:

• • Resource Type: Users can filter by the type of resource (e.g., Pages, Slides, Lesson Plan).
  • Modification Date: A dropdown menu allows filtering by when the resource was last modified, with options like "Today," "Yesterday," "Past 7 Days," "Past 30 Days," "Past 90 Days," "Last Year," or "Any time."
  • Sorting: Resources can be sorted by "Recently Modified" to keep the most active work at the top.

3. Add New: A prominent button allows educators to create new resources directly from the Launchpad.

Recents and Folders

The main workspace is divided into two primary sections:

• Recents: This section displays a grid of the most recently modified resources. Each card shows a preview thumbnail, the resource title, its type (e.g., "Resource"), and the time since it was last modified (e.g., "Last modified 12 minutes ago"). Users can perform quick actions on these cards, such as deleting or dragging to move them.
• Folders: This section provides a hierarchical structure for organizing resources. Educators can create new folders and categorize their work by subject, unit, or any other preferred system. The Launchpad displays a list of existing folders, such as "science / bio/ physical sci...", "health", "ELA", and specific topics like "Photosynthesis Experiments: Design Your Own" or "Leading the New Nation". Each folder entry includes an "Actions" menu for further management.

All Work

Below the folders, the "All Work" section lists every resource available to the user. This comprehensive view ensures that nothing is lost and provides a complete inventory of the educator's TeachShare creations.

Assignment Hub and Trash

The Launchpad also includes navigation links to specialized areas:

• Assignment Hub: A dedicated space for managing active and past assignments.
• Trash: A holding area for deleted resources, allowing for recovery if needed.
