Differentiation and Reading Level Adjustment
Differentiation and Reading Level Adjustment
TeachShare is built with differentiation as a first-class feature, not an afterthought. Teachers can create multiple versions of the same resource for different learner groups without starting from scratch.

8.1 Reading Level Selector
Within the editor, a "Reading level" selector allows teachers to choose a specific grade level (e.g., "5th Grade"). The AI rewrites the entire resource's language to match that reading level — adjusting vocabulary, sentence length, and complexity — while preserving the core content and learning objectives.
8.2 Creating Tiered Versions
Teachers can generate a resource at grade level, then duplicate it and adjust the reading level selector to create a below-grade-level version and an above-grade-level version. This produces a complete set of tiered materials from a single original prompt.
8.3 Language Translation
TeachShare supports translation into 10+ languages, making it possible to create bilingual resources or materials for multilingual classrooms without any external tools. Supported languages include Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, and others.
Use Case: A bilingual education teacher needs a social studies worksheet in both English and Spanish. They generate the English version, then use the translation feature to produce a Spanish version. Both documents maintain identical formatting and structure, making it easy to distribute to the appropriate students.
